Rajasthan envisions to become the DigitalSthan of India and with the Rajasthan Digifest 2018, this is no distant dream. The Rajasthan Digifest is a fruitful amalgam of pioneering technology, innovation, and unprecedented internet based solutions.

Prepping up for its third edition, Rajasthan Digifest 2018 is a four-day technology carnival which encompasses showcasing of latest inventions, setting up workshops and creating work opportunities, while promoting entrepreneurship with Startup Fest.

The third edition of Rajasthan Digifest 2018 & IT Day is slated to be held from March 18-21, 2018 in Jaipur. The event will be a congregation of internet sterlings including entrepreneurs, innovators, business leaders, and changemakers.

Hackathon 4.0

A benison for all coders and programmers, the Digifest 2018 will witness the World’s Biggest Single Location Hackathon ‘Hackathon 4.0’. This is no ordinary hackathon; it is a 36-hour coding competition which will have more than 5000 coders in attendance. This will be held at the Rajasthan college, Jaipur.

Green-a-Thon

Digifest 2018 is not only about the internet of things, it is also about making this place a better place to live in. The Rajasthan Digifest 2018 will have a special programme named ‘Green-a-Thon’ – a Hackathon in which participants will develop, or present their ideas which can potentially contribute to making the world a greener place.

“It is one-of-a-kind marathon to promote technology and innovation. Anyone can come and participate. We are expecting at least 20,000 people to come and join the initiative,” added Uday Shankar, Director (Technical) of RajCOMP Info Services, Jaipur.

Rajasthan Digifest 2018 : EduHack

Not only this, Rajasthan Digifest 2018 will also encompass EduHack – a non -stop 24 hour Hackathon formulated with an aim to nurture unprecedented solutions in making the education system more sound. The participants of Eduhack will be teachers, educationists, professors, and lecturers.

“We are expecting participation of at least 500 startups in the Startup Fest. The platform will have over 50 VCs, angel investors and HNIs. We will also have boot camp and mentoring clinic for startups,” added Ravindra Shukla, Managing Director of Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation.

Loans and equity funding worth Rs 500 crores

The state government will provide loans and equity funding from its Startup Fund of Rs 500 crore at the Rajasthan Digifest 2018, out of which Rs 100 crores are for the “Women Startups” and Rs 50 crore for “Green Startups”.
