Rajasthan is evolving in all the terms. To provide people a better experience of Jungle, Udaipur forest department is coming up with cycle safari. Just like normal, people explore the jungle and wildlife. The difference comes as people will explore it on their bicycles. This is also a great idea to make people more close to nature and encourage them to be fitter.
Cycle safari will also give boost to ecotourism in Rajasthan as well as generate awareness about the region. With the help of safari, tourists across the world can get to know more about Rajasthan and its wildlife. Know more.
Peddle to Jungle
In Rajasthan, it is the second edition of the cycling safari. It is named as Peddle to Jungle. This safari is of 220 kms. This will be of three days and two nights beginning from November 29. This safari will be held under the supervision of wildlife experts and forest officials.

This safari will start from Baghdara natural park and then move towards Jaisamand, Dhariyawad to Sitamata Sanctuary and Dam Dama forest. During the safari, the riders can enjoy Ruthi Rani Palace, Jagat temples and other scenic natural spots. Towards evening, campfires will be held for the participants. The charge of cycling safari per person is ₹ 9000.

It is not the first time that cycle safari is being held in Rajasthan. In the previous edition, 30 people were enrolled. This time, the number of participants that can enroll are 100. Well.. in the previous safari, organizers face troubles as participants were not so fit. Hence, this time scrutiny will be done.
Talking about the track, off the 220 kilometers, 150 kilometers will pass through off-road tracks while 35 kilometers of stretch will be through mainstream jungles with no trails.
