Sheila Dikshit has been facing sheer controversy over her name in suspicious list of transactions. Ironically, Congress has projected her as chief ministerial candidate for Uttar Pradesh assembly polls.

She has promptly disposed off all the accusations and reports imposed on her. She had also outdistanced the Congress’ election campaign running in Uttar Pradesh, for which she was projected for Chief Minister candidate.

After the deliberate mention of her name in “Sahara Diaries”, there has been a speculation over her weak position in Utter Pradesh polls.

But, this has also been transpired that, Congress had a strategy to target Prime Minister Narendra Modi bringing him into the speculation circle.

She not only rejected the speculations, but also dumped the reports that she had rescheduled the programmes in Aligarh. She said it like, “I am amused to see ‘Sheila distances herself from UP’ speculation in media. Aligarh was not on my schedule. I will be in Barabanki tomorrow”.

She was also equally in dilemma that why the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) did not go for any probing into all the allegations imposed on them in the veil of Sahara and Birla group transactions.

Dikshit tweeted it like, “Why is @PMOIndia shying from an independent and a thorough probe into the #BirlaSaharaPapers?”

As usual, Rahul Gandhi (Congress vice-president) has wholeheartedly supported Sheila’s tweet. Gandhi asked it like, “Sheilaji has herself asked for an enquiry, if she does not have a problem then what is Modiji’s problem, if Sheilaji is ready then why not Modiji?”

Congress has named it a strategy and one of their senior leader said, “No one sought any explanation from Sheila ji, in fact she has been kept in loop”.

A senior BJP leader said, “Rahul Gandhi spoke out in open on these papers knowing fully well that many Congress leaders figure in the list including Jayanthi Natrajan, Ashok Gehlot and so on. If need be we are ready for sacrifice too”.
