    The second day of ‘Aapka Zila Aapki Sarkar’ concluded with Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje making big announcements for Karauli. Following inspection in Aanganbaadi center, district hospital, Aadarsh schools and ration shops in the district, Raje instructed government officers to resolve public complaints and wind up developmental projects by year end. Raje paid tribute to martyrs Ram Singh and Vikas Gurjar and wished peace for their souls. Addressing a public rally in Karauli, Raje presented a report card of BJP government and made big announcements for Karauli’s welfare.

    Projects Successfully Completed in Karauli

    • 4-lane Bridge constructed over Kalisindh River in Todabheem (Rs 8 crores),
    • Widening and restoration of Balaji Ghati at Sapotra (Rs 62 lakhs),
    • Completion of 77% pending water work projects in Hindone city (Rs 56 crores),
    • Construction of 7 new water storage units that’ll supply water soon,
    • Infrastructure projects worth Rs 2100 completed in Karauli in last 3 years.

    The State will Tighten Screws on Water Mafias

    Residents of Karaulis had complaint regarding tanker owners charging high prices on clean drinking water. The CM announced water works department to keep tabs on GPS-enabled tankers. She requested the residents to differentiate between government owned tankers (that carried party logo) and private tankers. Raje asked people to register complaint against water mafias in their region.

    After Three Long Years, Raje’s Schemes Have Yielded Positive Results for Karauli

    • 40 lakh families in Rajasthan received direct benefits worth Rs 7000 crores through Bhamashah Cards. Out of these, 11,000 beneficiaries were from Karauli. Total Rs 36,000 crores were spent under Bhamashah yojana that includes crop loans, startup loans, scholarships and free medical aid to needy families.
    • 70 lakh revenue related cases successfully solved through Revenue Lok Adalats under ‘Nyay Aapke Dwar. Many of these cases were from Karauli itself.
    • 42 lakh residents in Rajasthan were benefitted from Deendayal Upadhyay Shahri Jan Kalyan Shivirs organized in Rajasthan. 86,430 people received lease deeds for their property in these camps. About 4000 recipients were from Karauli itself.
    • The state government received 300 complaints regarding safe drinking water and Amrit Lal Meena scheme at Rajasthan Sampark Portal (online website for registering complaints). These cases were successfully resolved on time.
    • Under phase I of Mukhyamantri Jal Swavlamban Abhiyan (rainwater harvesting scheme), 1280 projects worth Rs 18 crore. These projects include construction of new water reservoirs and repair of existing ponds and tanks. In the second phase, about 1460 works worth Rs 29 crores are under development in 86 villages.
    • 44-kilometre long roads worth Rs 22 crores were constructed in 40 villages in Karuali under ‘Gramin Gaurav Path Yojana’. For phase II, the government intends to complete construction of 298-kilometer-long roads in 286 villages amounting to Rs 1253 crores. Currently, a 183-kilometer-long road connecting Dhaulpur-Karauli-Lalsot is under construction (Rs. 590 crores).
    • The government promised employment to 15 lakh people in state under RSLDC (Rajasthan Skills and Livelihood Development Corporation). Till date, 12 lakh youths were employed in government sectors. Recruitments are in progress on 1 lakh 35 thousand posts. The government will complete its target of 3 lakh jobs before 2019.
    • Panchna-Gudla lift project was successfully resolved. The water from this canal was supplied to agricultural lands for irrigation.
    • Out of 555 ration stores in states, 111 of them have been developed as Annapurna Bhandar.

    • Construction of Gramin Gaurav Path in 44 Gram Panchayats,
    • Projects worth Rs 10,000 crores completed in Mandrayan-Karauli Bypass,
    • Missing Links constructed in 30 Gram Panchayats,

    • New police station in Sapotra’s Daulpura village,
    • PHC merged into CHC in Kudgaon,
