The occasion was a cricket match, organised in the memory of Rajmata Vijayraje Scindia. The winners of this match were rewarded by the government.
Addressing a public congregation at Rajmata Vijyaraje Sindhiya sports stadium, Kumar lauded CM Raje for her visionary ideas and good governance. Raje’s developmental schemes like Bhamashah deliver direct benefits of government-run schemes to deserving beneficiaries in remote areas.
All these factors make Raje a strong contender for PM sponsored Narendra Modi Cup. This award will be bestowed upon the chief minister of states that will deliver commendable performance in their state.
Raje’s Mission Jodhpur: Development Projects worth 1126 Crores Announced for the Blue City
CM Raje used this opportunity to announce several developmental projects for Jodhpur city that include a state hotel management office, SDO office, statistics office, 9 senior secondary schools, engineering college with gymnasium, computer labs, 69 gramin gaurav path (roads connecting villages to different cities) etc.
Ananth Kumar to Endorse Rajasthan Government’s Rajshree Yojana
Quite impressed by Rajasthan government’s Rajshree Yojana, Central minister Ananth Kumar agreed to promote the scheme all over the world. He lauded the CM’s efforts for introducing incredible changes in Rajasthan.

- Annapurna Bhandars to Sell Subsidized Medicines.
The state government is likely to sign a MoU with the centre over Pradhanmantri Jan Aushadhi Kalyan Yojana (Centre’s drug and medicine scheme) for direct delivery of generic medicines to remote regions of Rajasthan. Under this scheme, the government will sanction a budget worth Rs 2.5 lakh to each Annapurna Bhandar (fair price shops) that will sell about 600 generic drugs to villages.
- Parvan Irrigation Project to Start in March
Considering the acute scarcity of water in Rajasthan and the shortcomings of traditional irrigation system, Raje announced Parvan irrigation project that will supply irrigation water to Baran, Kota and Jhalawar. The scheme aims at eliminating the shortcomings of traditional irrigation practices in India.
- New Medical College and URIT Plant
The Centre has assured to finance the state for its upcoming Jhalawar medical college project. Once the blue print for the college is prepared and presented before the Centre, appropriate funds will be allotted by the Centre.
Concurrently, a new super-phosphate plant with the production capacity of 13 lakh metric tons will be set up in Chittorgarh. A budget of Rs 100 crore will be sanctioned for this project.
Having made these announcements, CM appreciated the public as well as state officers for cooperating with the government in execution of flagship schemes. Keeping up with this spirit, Rajasthan will soon set new milestones in key sectors of development.
