Bhamashah Swasthya Beema Yojana (BSBY) has proved to be a beacon of hope and optimism for many people – old and young in the Churu district. Dhapa Kawar, 50-year old lady from Bharusar is grateful to BSBY for rescuing her. Already troubled by the inability to get her father treated, she found hope in the BSBY when someone told her about this. Ravindra Hospital has tied up with BSBY and is leading the BSBY service after Dhukia hospital. Then she got herself a Bhamashah card and Ration card number, on the basis of which she got entitled to the facility for free treatment. Dhapa felt relieved after receiving free treatment. She spread the word about BSBY to all her acquaintances so that they could also deploy this magical scheme for their welfare and peaceful life.

42-year old Aachi had been suffering from throat disease for a long time after which her family took her to various hospitals. All doctors recommended her an operation. However, her family could not afford the highly expensive operation. However, somebody told her about Bhamashah Yojana after which she went to Ravindra Hospital. She acquired her Bhamashah card and Ration card for initiating the treatment. They also told her about NPFA and free treatment aided by BSBY. Her treatment otherwise cost about 22000. However, her family could not afford this amount. Through BSBY, Aachi received relief from Thyroid.

Seturam, a resident of Pithisir village, Churu district was troubled with the Kidney stone problem. After enquiring with a few doctors, Seturam found that the operation charge is beyond what he could afford. Hence, he, therefore, failed at getting his operation done and getting rid of the kidney stone. He had no hopes left for getting this treated. But BSBY came to Seturam as a blessing in hard times. BSBY made the impossible possible for Seturam. He got free treatment under BSBY. A sum of Rs 10,000 was spent on treating Seturam’s kidney stone at the Ravindra hospital.
