The relentless efforts by Rajasthan Government towards boosting the water levels in the state via the ambitious scheme of Mukhyamantri Jal Swavlamban Abhiyan (MJSA) are evident from the massive positive results witnessed in the state. The scheme has bolstered the water levels, increased groundwater and given a fillip to the agriculture sector indirectly. MJSA Vasundhara Raje
Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje highlighted the fruitful work which has been done under the banner of Mukhyamantri Jal Swavlamban Abhiyan (MJSA). It has created self-reliance in water in the parched villages of the state. Not only this, the level of water conservation has incredibly improved. The state of Rajasthan which is also known as the Desert state and is synonymous with drought has now been transformed to a water-enriched state. Thanks to MJSA.
“The techniques of the MJSA are being adopted by the BRICS nations and also in the Murray- Darling River Basin in Australia,” CM Raje said while addressing the workshop on MJSA at the Rajasthan Agriculture Research Institute at Durgapura on Friday.
Amidst all other initiatives encompassed in the MJSA, CM Raje threw light on the development of the conventional water reservoir Jauhar in Bikaner, Tonka in Nagaur.

CM Raje also drove attention to the humungous support garnered by MJSA across the state, especially in Jhalawar. The continued support can facilitate the state to become a self-reliant state as far as water resources are concerned. To make believe the masses about the amount of love and support MJSA had received, the district collectors of Jhalawar, Naguar, and Bikaner gave presentations. MJSA Vasundhara Raje
CM Raje also urged the officials to make sure that all regions of the state become beneficiaries of the scheme. She directed them to ensure that innovations reach all other districts of the state for a wholesome output. MJSA Vasundhara Raje
