“If you enter politics, the Public is your Family.” – CM Raje still falls back on this one learning from her mother. Traveling back in time, she reflected back on the significance of her mother Rajmata on her life. She also stressed the coordination and camaraderie which existed earlier between ministers and party workers, when there were no helicopters, no roads, etc. but is somewhat missing now. Inspirational CM Raje

“Life cannot be spent without books. They are like friends,” she said while emphasizing that there is nothing better than books. Apart from the books, it is gardening where she spends her time, only in idle time, which is very difficult to find in a life such as that of hers.

CM Raje said she is highly inclined towards reading historical documents and books. She finds interest in reading about ancient rulers; from Ceasar to Augustus, Cleopatra in Egypt, Russian dynasties, CM Raje has read it all. History repeats itself and is very interesting, she reiterated.

Telling about how she brought up his son Dushyant Singh, she said that he was made to lead a commoner’s life. “In this life, there are not only gains but also a lot of dedication and hardwork,” is the major learning which I wanted Dushyant to imbibe, she said.

Where does she drive her inner strength from? I never leave my home without prayer, she said. Chanting Mantras is the essential act before she leaves her house. She stresses on the fact that it is her Ashram where she finds indomitable peace.

“Indestructible” faith in God makes everything possible, she said. God’s power, the divinity of deities, and the love and support of people is the recipe for running any state, she noted. The presence of these three elements, she said, ensures that there is peace, love and that everything else falls in place. Inspirational CM Raje

It was always known that CM Raje was a down-to-earth human being with a generous heart for the underprivileged, weak and less fortunate ones. She has been seen working relentlessly for the benefits of the women, the children and the tireless farmers.
