7th Pay Commission Brings New Perks For Government Employees In Rajasthan

The long held wait of 7th pay commission recipients will have some sighs of relief as more than 6 and half lakh employees were waiting for this relief news. To serve to the demands of the commission, the state government built the committee on Friday. The head of the commission is the main secretary, D.C. Samant. To execute this properly, state government will need the time period of 2-3 months. In these situations, the pay scale will be applicable from October itself. This may come up as Diwali present as this will come near the festival season only.

In centre, the employees appealed for the 7th pay commission in the year 2016 itself.  In these appeals, the central employees’ basic pay has been varied from 2.57, 2.67 and 2.72 to a fix thing. Te perks have not been announced yet. For this, a committee has been formed. In the appeals of pay commission, these have been kept as 8 percent, 16 percent and 24 percent. In this, for metro cities, 24 percent for type two cities, 16 percent for other cities and 8 percent for HRA cities were demanded.

An amount of 10,000 will be increased for IAS officers:

The IAS officers will have a starting pay of up to Rs. 60,000. The current pay amount is Rs. 50,000.

Below is the description of ongoing slab:

Current slab: Rs. 21,000 as entry level + 132 percent DA+20 percent HRA = Pay around Rs. 51,000

New slab: Rs. 21000 as entry level x 2.67 + Rs. 5400 on grade + allowances (probably from 16 to 20 percent) = Rs. 60,000.

Gazetted officer: Possibilities of increment up to Rs. 6,000.

Entry level  is Rs. 4800 makes monthly pay of up to Rs. 46,000. As per the 7th pay commission, this can be increased to Rs. 51,000 to Rs. 52,000.

Non Gazetted officer: The pay will most likely increase by Rs. 2,000.

On entry level, they are getting pay of Rs. 18,000. After the appeals of payment commission, this may get Rs. 20,000.
