The milk will be provided three days in a week which means 5 lakh litre of milk is required every day. There are almost 80000 government schools in Rajasthan where more than 8500000 students are studying. It will take three months to roll out the scheme across the state.

Ensuring quality of milk

Rajasthan government is very concerned about the quality of milk to be served to kids. For this, CM Raje gave priority to milk producers’ committees run by women. In order to avoid any compromise with the quality of the milk, the decision to approach such committees for milk was taken. The milk will not be distributed unless each teacher and parent taste milk and ensure the quality.
