Bharatpur is reaching unprecedented horizons of development and growth. Road infrastructure has expanded, water transportation system has been revamped, engendering water assessable for the common masses. Under the Mukhyamantri Jal Swavalamban Yojana, wells and adequate measures were taken, thereby resulting in drastic rise in water levels. All developments in the recent past have p[roved to be a complete boon for all the Bharatpur dwellers.
Now that the district of Bharatpur has been endowed with burgeoning and game-changer technologies and infrastructure, it is time to usher the tourist traffic into the city. And the government did rightly so.
As a part of the comprehensive attempt to drive tourists in the beautiful district, a mobile application has been launched that acts as a one-stop solution for all tourist requirements.
The app has been named LeZgo. I am happy to tell you that this app is no cookie-cutter. It is proper, original and informative. Nearly 30 places of Bharatpur including the famous Keoladeo National Park have been covered under the ambit. If you were fancying for a real peek-a-boo into the various locations, this app serves on that purpose too. LeZgo encompasses pictures, audio, video. Not only this, it also entails historical backgrounds and interesting cultural stories in nexus with the location.
The Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Vasundhara Raje, launched the app on Thursday, with a purposeful thought to make tourism and leisure time in Bharatpur, a seamless experience for one and all. At the launch, she was happy to say: “We want to present Bharatpur in all it’s glory to the visitors both domestic and foreign. Tourism in Bharatpur would increase multi-fold with this digital platform.”
A similar app has already been launched in Ajmer and Jodhpur districts. The app has been developed by Bengaluru based Sohamsaa systems. Close officials also informed that tourism app for Jaipur and Udaipur are also in the pipeline. “Discussions with authorities in Jaipur and Udaipur to launch the app are going on,” Parag Prasad, CEO of Sohamsaa said.
Parag wasd also happy to announce the triumphant response which the app received. Parag informed that there are more than 1500 users of the app which was initially launched in Ajmer in November. What a leap, indeed!
Rajasthan is sure treading on an unending path of success and developments. With every passing day, it is creating history by accomplishing unprecedented milestones in realms, yet not discovered by other states.
It has earmarked massive funds for the education and empowerment of girl child. Not only this, it has remained as the top state to comply with the demonetisation guidelines with a slew of ATMs and PoS machines dispersed across the state geography. And now tourism has apparently taken a front seat for the Raje Government. Well done, indeed!
