    Supari Journalism

No wonder how media has been gradually losing the credibility by putting false stories before the public. Here is the proof that trusted media houses like ‘Economic Time’, are misguiding people with fallacious data. Supari Journalism

‘Economic Times’ published an “analytical report” in the Edition on August 24, 2018, with the title- POLLCARD Rajasthan ‘Cong Plans to Woo All as BJP Eyes 2nd Term’ Supari Journalism

    What RT published?- Supari Journalism

“BJP is facing ire from them as it has so far failed to implement the Rs. 8,000 crore debt waiver to the farmers.” (As the highlighted part of the whole column).

What is in fact?- Supari Journalism

CM Raje inaugurated the loan waiver scheme on May 31, 2018 form Banswara district. Till now approximately 6000 camps have been organized through the state and 24.07 lac farmers have been benefitted by the total amount of Rs. 7338.24 Crores as loan waiver and remaining are in the speedy process.

    What ET Published?-

“Over the past three months, six farmers have reportedly committed suicide alleging mounting farm debt, taking the tally to over 100 under this BJP rule.”

    What is in fact?-

As per the information available on grass root level, each one of deceased farmers had some sort of family or physical issues. Media left no stone unturned for making Naguar Farmer Manglaram Meghwal’s suicide a hoax. According to the grass root information, Manglaram was disabled to stand on his feet and was alone among his brothers and their families. Information says no farmer has committed suicide due to the mounting of farm debts related to short-term co-operative credit structure in the state.

Besides the loan waiver, the co-operative banks have also issued fresh crop loan to these 24.7 Lac waiver beneficiary farmers for Kharif-2018 crops.

The historical increment in Minimum Support Price by Raje Government

    The Newspaper published-

“Garlic Producers from Hadauti, which chief minister Raje represents, were the worst sufferers with prices crashing as low as rs. 5/kg.”

    What the fact say?-

To give relief to the farmers of Haduati and other garlic producing areas in Rajasthan a record procurement of 90580 metric tons garlic was undertaken by RAJFED amounting to rs 295.02 Crores from 13th April to 30th June 2018. For the convenience of farmerd RAJFED operated more than 30 procurement centers in state.

Even the government had been approved increase in Minimum Support Price (MPS) in both the crop seasons in past 4 years. So there is no valid point of making such false statements. Media is known for showing real data and factual analysis but know in the commercial run the house like ‘Economic Times’ need to do their homework before anything.
