According to the officials of the Ministry of Agriculture, all the seven crore farmers who have not been registered before the code of conduct have not been transferred to their account. The work of their registration will continue. The process of putting money into their account will start after the code of conduct is over. According to Vivek Agrawal, the CEO of the scheme, “31 March, till 31 March, the first installment was sent to the farmers whereas the registration was done by 4.76 crore farmers, so the first installment will be sent to the remaining people
The formal beginning of this scheme was made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Gorakhpur on February 24. Under which Rs. 6000 will be given to 12 crore farmers in three installments. The Modi government has launched this scheme to cut the Congress’s debt waiver bets. BJP leaders hope that this scheme will be a good election crop. Therefore, he has promised in his resolution that if his government comes again then all farmers will get the benefit.
What to do to get money?
To take advantage of the scheme, registration will be done in the Agriculture Department. The administration will do its verification. There must be necessary papers for this. In which Revenue record, the name of the land owner, social classification (scheduled caste / tribe), bank account number, mobile number must be given. Cooperate with the writer and agricultural officer. First, the base number is necessary for the second installment, whereas for the third it will also be taken biometric.
Who is eligible for the scheme?
At present, small and marginal farmer families come under its purview. Family means spouse and under-18 children, and they all collectively produce two hectares i.e. about 5 acres of land. That means husband and wife and children will be considered as a unit. The names of those whose names will be found in the Land Records from February 1, 2019 will be entitled to the same. The benefit will be given to the farmers whose name comes in the 2015-16 Agricultural Census. The government had released it last year.
these people do not have the advantage
Officers in the Central or State Government (except the Multi Tasking Staff / Fourth Division / Group D employees) and the farmers receiving more than 10 thousand pensioners will not get the benefit. Professionals, doctors, engineers, CAs, lawyers, architects, whoever farms, will not be considered entitled to this benefit. In the last financial year, income tax payers will be deprived of this benefit. MP, MLA, Minister and Mayor will also be deprived of this.
