The controversy over Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movie Padmavati is coming up with new twists and turns every day. Since the making of the movie, Rajput Karni Sena is creating troubles to the film. And as the time of the release is just few days later there is a havoc in the nation. There is continuous protest over the movie and effigies of film cast and filmmakers are being burnt by Rajput communities.

Not only men but also the Rajput ladies are holding protest against the film. In fact, the Rajputs have also blocked entry to Chittor Fort in lieu of this controversy. Now, there is a new twist in the story. The Rajputs are demanding a huge temple of Mata Padmavati to be built in Chittorgarh.

What Rajput said on making Temple?

Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, president, Rashtriya Karni Sena, said, “Padmini Mahal should be converted into a huge temple of Mata Padmini.” Apart from this, the Karni Sena has demanded that the Padmini Mahal be handed over to the Rajputs.

Even the Rajput community has filed a petition against Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Deepika Padukone in Pali for hurting religious sentiments of crores of people.

    Reason behind the protest

The protest is broken out as Rajput Karni Sena is claiming that the movie has distorted the real aspect of Rani Padmavati’s life and her valour. Filmmaker Bhansali has played with their emotions by changing the historical facts. Rajut community is threatening not only the film cast but also everyone who is supporting filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

The Rajput communities are creating unrest and proclaiming that the movie will not be allowed to release in the entire country. In fact, the date of release has been postponed as of now.

This is really shocking to see how a community has created unrest in the entire nation. These people are protesting and disturbed the country on the basis of assumptions. These people haven’t even watched the movies. This is the high time that India should unite together and take actions against such kinds of anti-social elements. It is important to educate people and tell them where to focus their energies.
