Rajasthan becomes first state to provide Skill Training to Transgender

To make the state developed, the state government of Rajasthan works on every sector. Youth employment is a big need of the state. Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje very well understands the importance of this sector and makes efforts for the growth of the sector. In fact, she had started skill training program for youth in her previous tenure (2003-2008) which benefitted lac of youth. Skill Training To Transgender

On the eve of World Youth Skills Day, Mrs. Raje was addressing the youth who established new dimensions in skill development at Ravindra Manch, Jaipur. She called the youth of state to enhance their skills with help of skill training program. In fact, Rajasthan has become the first state to provide skill training to transgender. Skill Training for Transgender 

Transgender have not been considered part of society so they have to suffer a lot. It is a great achievement for Rajasthan that it has paved the ways for the uplifting the lives of transgender. The skill training campaign for transgender has been initiated by the state. During the event, the CM summoned transgender Neha and Prakash on stage and complimented them. She also encouraged them to be part of this initiative.

Know what CM Raje said at the event

CM Raje was extremely happy to see the changes brought by skill training program. She had first started this training with ₹ 4 crore to make the youth of Rajasthan employable. Now, this amount has reached 1100 crores today. She further added that Rajasthan was considered backward in Information Technology. But, now it made progress and the hub of IT like Karnataka, has made Rajasthan a consultant. In fact, Rajasthan has been chosen the best IT state in the country this year. To further support this, the state Government has also made a separate fund for IT.

CM Raje also talked about IT Job Fair, which would be held in Bikaner from July 25-27. This youth fair would be a great opportunity to the youth. CM also shared various other initiatives by the state in the field of youth skill training. The state has opened private and government colleges in this filed.

The event was attended by Skill University’s VC Mr. Lalit K Panwar, RSLDC’s MD Mr. Nikkei Gohane, Skill Development Secretary Mr. Rajesh Yadav and Chairman of CII Rajasthan Shri Anil Sabu were also present.
