The new kid on the block, Rahul Gandhi has become the laughing stock for the day, to say the least. Congress Vice President was made subjected to new dose of jibe not from Indians, this time from Guinness Book of World Records, an international organization.

The politician has been in limelight continuously for back-to-back defeats at various political elections. Be it at recent public events, after which the minister was trolled severly on various social media platforms.

Vishal Diwan, an engineering student from Hoshangabad Madhya Pradesh approached the Guinness Book of World Records and requested to applaud accord Rahul Gandhi for losing not less than 27 elections in the country.

Diwan also explicitly blamed Gandhi for the drowning performance of Congress in the last 5 years. He said the failure spree of Congress could be because Gandhi became the face of the party.

So many recurring defeats lead to an impressive record break. And this Congress man’s unending defeat streak is very well eligible for breaking a record.

Diwan also wrote a letter to the administration of Guinness Books, in this regard and requested a mention of the amateur politician in the record book.

Interestingly, Diwan received the confirmation of acceptance of his application. However, to much dismay, the organization did not clarify as to whether or not his request will be accepted.

In the much awaited UP and other state assemble elections, Rahul and his party bagged an eye-washing failure, which clearly depicted that the masses no longer possess any amount of trust in the old political party.

Congress only managed to win in Punjab, while it lost to BJP by a massive vote bank in 4 out of 5 states. In Uttar Pradesh, Manipur, Goa and Uttarakhand, BJP formed it’s government. Interestingly, although Congress won in Manipur and Goa, the party couldn’t form government in these states.

Well, we can’t wait to hear the final word from the Guinness Book of World Records!
