PM Modi says Rajasthan has a significant for building New India

The recent visit of PM Narendra Modi to the state of Rajasthan turned out to be very successful. It was ‘Pradhan Mantri Jansanwad programme’ that held at Amrudon ka Bagh. More than 2.5 lac people had participated in the rally. A large no. of beneficiaries of various schemes of Central and State government had attended the rally. Expectations of PM from Rajasthan New India

While addressing the rally, he quoted that India would complete 75 years of Independence in 2022 while Rajasthan would celebrate 70th anniversary of its foundation. PM said that BJP took resolution of creating a New India but it could not be possible without new Rajasthan. He said that building a state is similar to building a nation. He asked for the support of Rajasthan and its citizens to make and build new India.

Efforts for building new Rajasthan

Rajasthan had been asking for national status to Eastern Canal project of linking Parvati-Kali Sindh and Chambal. So, the Ministry of Water Resources would consider this demand positively. He has also laid foundation of 13 urban infrastructure projects. These projects would cost ₹ 13000 crore and would lead different cities of state on the path of development.  He also appreciated various welfare schemes and how these schemes had changed the life of innumerable people. As the government raised the MSP, it would support the crop produce in Rajasthan too.

PM also talked about the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Barmer Refinery and Jan Dhan Accounts. The certain schemes like Prime Minister Awas Scheme, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and Mudra Yojana were also discussed by PM.

He also talked about the struggles of farmers working in adverse condition to produce food as well as the brave Rajasthani people safeguarding the nation. He also appreciated the hospitable nature of the state. PM also appreciated CM Vasundhara Raje and her vision for building Rajasthan.
