As per a latest report, the Hindu migrants from Pakistan will be able to avail 50% discounts on plots measuring around 100 square metres. These plots will be offered in all 31 districts of Rajasthan including Jaipur, Jodhpur, and Ajmer. The government has made a policy regarding land allotment for the first time. As per the policy, if a Hindu family comes from Pakistan and stays in Rajasthan for more than 2 years, it will be allotted a subsidized piece of land. In order to avail this facility, the family will have to submit a certificate of Indian citizenship and a document of residence to the collector of the concerned district. The policy suggests that if the allottees fail to submit the amount to the urban body in the prescribed time limit, the plot would be canceled. This Urban Housing Policy was issued by the Urban Development Department after the Chief Minister’s approval.

Separate plots for adult Children
The policy proposes that the allotment will be made in the name of the head of the family in whose name the rashan card or the submitted document is presented. If they have adult son or daughter, they will be allotted a separate plot of land.
Maximum 100 square metres of plot will be allocated
Usually the provision is to allocate a house in an area of 90 square metres but the maximum limit is 100 square metres. The price of the plot for up to 60 square metres of land will be 25% of the residential reservation rate. Besides, the price of the plot of 60 to 90 square metres will be 50% of the residential reservation rate.
The lease of the allotement of plot will be tajken every year from the date of possession of 2.5% of the amount of allocation. Besides, the lease of 8 years will be freed from the lease rent on a lump sum amount. Plot to migrants from Pakistan
