Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, today shocked many by stating that there is a big possibility of Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav and Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati coming together, in the 2019 General Elections.

The seasoned politician and a man known for pulling off surprises openly declared that if Akhilesh and Mayawati stitch an alliance, then it would be game over for BJP in the General Elections while addressing a gathering.

According to the sources in his statement  Lalu stated that “Everybody is feeling and is working according to their policies, Then may it be Mayawati Ji, Akhilesh Ji, Robert Vadra Ji, Priyanka Gandhi Ji, Mamata didi or Kejriwal, Lalu Yadav or his family, the BJP wants to break us, because it knows our power very well. And is also aware of the fact that if all opposition parties unite, then its dream of again forming a government in 2019 will remain a dream.”

Lalu’s party, the RJD party is holding a rally on August 27, which is expected to be attended by the Congress president Sonia Gandhi,  the vice president Rahul Gandhi, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee, Orissa CM Navin Patnaik, Akhilesh Yadav, Mayawati and the former PM.  The main aim of this massive anti-BJP rally being “BJP Hatao. Desh Bachao”.

Lalu Prasad Yadav also stated that the BJP is making false promises and is an expert in spreading rumors adding that they will not be visible after the General Elections.

However continuous relentless efforts are made by the CONGRESS PARTY to bring together like-minded opposition parties to field a joint candidate for the upcoming presidential election.

Elections in India have now become more about the “candidate” rather than the “party”. Let’s wait and watch who will win the next general elections in 2019.
