After Lalu Prasad Yadav was ruthlessly exposed by Arnab Goswami on Republic TV, the RJD chieftain expected support from his partner-in-crime. Unfortunately for Lalu, Nitish was ‘busy suggesting Ideas to the Fascist Forces”!!!
Upset over his best buddy’s reactions on corruption charges against him, a ‘heartbroken’ Lalu took to twitter to cool himself off. Taking a jibe at BJP’s ‘New alliance partner’, Lalu made his displeasure quite evident on the social network. He tweeted a series of tweets in response to the Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar’s cautious remarks on graft allegations.
Finally breaking his silence on Arnab’s “mega exposure” a couple of days back, Nitish suggested the I-T to move court, if they had solid evidences against Lalu’s “benami property”. As per Kumar, this is a “corporate company affair” and is nowhere linked to the functioning of the Bihar government. In case you didn’t know, this Monday, the income tax department conducted multiple raids to expose “benami (shady unnamed) deals” worth Rs 1000 crores. The deal involved former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad as well as other high-profile politicians of Bihar.
About 22 locations all over Delhi were investigated to raise evidences against the politicians. Nitish, who had just emerged from a cabinet meeting held in Patna, was apparently clueless about the raids. He didn’t know the purpose behind the raid, but surely asked the government authorities to involve Indian courts for justice.
Meanwhile, Lalu and his son Tenjaswi Prasad put up a brave front saying they weren’t scared of fighting the fascist forces. Putting up questions on the ruling BJP, Lalu demanded a probe against BJP-leader Sushil Kumar Modi. He indirectly targeted Nitish for ganging up with his ‘enemies’ behind his back.

The RJD leaders strongly stood by Lalu’s statements. As per them, it was essential to send a strong message against BJP and JDU, who took Lalu for granted. He said he won’t be scared of empty threats. His tweet sent the local MLAs and party workers into a tizzy.
Realizing the importance of their ‘alliance’ later, Yadav attempted to normalize the situation. He commented the alliance was ‘strong as ever’ and the opposition shouldn’t salivate on the possibility of replacing the government.

While RJD spokesperson Manoj Kumar Jha claims all’s well within the party, it’s just the “central agencies performing witch hunt”, one can’t help but ignore the underlying tension within the party.
No matter what, if things continue this way, things will turn out to be in favor of BJP in Bihar, irrespective of the ‘grand’ JDU-RJD alliance.
