When MLAs don’t contribute by their virtues, they resort to publicity stunts to secure their seat. But to no avail.

Recently, Rajasthan witnessed an un-called for agitation, an agitation which has sparked flames in the State. It all started when a notorious MLA, Chandra Kanta Meghwal was charged by the traffic police. A challan was issued against the lady by the police officer, who would have otherwise too issued a challan to all culprits in the normal course of his job.

While we know that challan issuing is a conventional way of punishing traffic rule breakers, and the matter assumes a full stop after the challan is issued. But this case was an exception. It didn’t end here. A series of retaliations followed after, which have contributed towards forming a big controversy which the MLA would love to hone as a part of her publicity stunt.

Not only this lady, but her husband too hatched a conspiracy as part of his publicity drive. The small issue was aggravated and exaggerated by MLA and her husband and created an unneeded chaos at the Mahaveer Nagar police station in Kota.

MLA’s husband, Narendra Meghwal invaded the police station. He was escorted by his wife and a couple of party workers who collectively indulged in a heinous and inhumane action sequences which were as illegitimate as criminal.

Owing to the impulsive nature of Narendra, an innocent police officer became a recipient of a tight slap on his face. This is inhumanely insane of any civilian to do. More so, when that police officer was no wrong in filing a charge sheet against Chandra Kanta Meghwal. (Watch: VIDEO of man slapping the cop).

The arrogance and pride of being an MLA consumed Chandra Kanta who has now probably lost her senses and etiquettes to her position. Despite holding a reputable position, the MLA exhorted her husband to blow a strong slap on the face of an innocent police officer.

This Monday, Narendra Meghwal and Chandra kanta Meghwal were spotted arguing with Rajasthan police. The obdurate group of Meghwal followers groped and manhandled the police while putting alleged pressure onto the police officer to withdraw his traffic challan.

Meghwal framed the cops for ‘manhandling’ her wife and asked police to cancel the challan, post which the agitators waited for no moment. They set a nearby IOC petrol pump on fire thus, causing massive violence and turbulence in the city.

As a clear repercussion of the whole menace, a battery of suits against the MLA was bound to follow.  Sawai Singh Godara, Kota Superintendent of Police directed an enquiry. They registered five criminal cases against the BJP MLA and detained the group of protestants along with DSP, CI and three other cops at Mahaveernagar Police Station in Kota.

Not surprisingly, this lady has been accused a couple of times already in the past. Her unyielding, haughty and boisterous attitude clearly reciprocates for such cases.

The BJP MLA has also in the past, indulged in levelling hypothetical allegations. She has falsely accused the Jats of assaulting SC/STs in Rajasthan. Her major purpose behind doing this was to spark a community drama by manipulating differences between casts. And of course, not to forget, it was also for gaining unnatural publicity.

Rajasthan cabinet minister Rajendra Rathore spelled out his opinion on the matter. He also stated that strict action will be taken against the offenders, whether or not they are civilians or the law makers.

There are a slew of local leaders who have extensively contributed towards defaming the party’s name due to their uncontrolled and inhumane instincts and emotions.
