There is a great news for the rail travellers of state of Rajasthan. Under Digital India initiative, high speed WiFi facility has been made available to 13 railway stations of Rajasthan. This is started with an aim to provide internet facilities to the travellers.
The idea to provide WiFi facility at all the A-1 category and A category railway stations across India has already been proposed said Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway Tarun Jain.

How many railway stations have been equipped with WiFi facility so far?
The efforts of North Western Railways have resulted into many WiFi equipped stations. This facility has been provided in phases. In the first phase, it was provided in Jaipur, Udaipur, Ajmer and Jodhpur. Now, the WiFi is made available at the stations of Ajmer Mandal, Abu Road, Bikaner, Falna and few more stations.
Where will the facility be available next?
In order to expand the internet facility at stations, it is proposed that railway stations of Bhiilwara, Marwar, Surtagarh, Bhuiwani, Bandikui, Rewari, Nagore and Pali etc will get WiFi. North Western Railways

To make rail journey comfortable for the passengers, this facility has been started by Railway ministry. RailTel, in collaboration with Google, will provide the free Wi-Fi service. Now, the travellers can stream high definition videos or download games or any other work easily. Internet has turned out to be a big need of the users. For those who travel alone and travel frequently through train will definitely be happy.
