CM Raje addressed the India Today Women Summit Rajasthan – 2017 and encouraged the flair of women empowerment in the state. CM Raje said on this event that, women is nowhere lagging behind in terms of power and were never a weak part of the society. She also added that women make their own way and have complete faith in their abilities.
The summit was arranged in the Hotel Hilton where CM Raje addressed the India Today Summit Rajasthan – 2017. CM Raje highlighted that women needs to understand their charisma and choose their way to follow.
During the summit CM Raje also highlighted many programmes run by the state government in favour of women empowerment.
Decelerate in Maternal and Infant Mortality Rate
CM Raje Apprised the people that there is rise in the number of Rajasthan’s institutional deliveries which caused lesser maternal and infant mortality rate. She urged people to come forward for girl education and for this government also help with paying 50,000 for every girl child’s education from her birth till 12th standard. Government will also be providing aid of transport voucher and scooty to encourage them for education.
The attempts of government raised the happiness levels of girls
State government also ensured of constructing toilets in the schools and arrangements have been made to provide sanitary napkins to girls in schools. CM Raje also mentioned the lucrative benefits of the Bhamashah Yojna which assisted the state women in terms of money. The scheme has been successful with zero failure rate. Till now the scheme has delivered more than Rs. five thousand and five hundred crores in the beneficiary accounts. More than 4.86 crore people have been nominated under the Bhamashah Yojna of the state.
CM Raje honoured seven women in the summit for their notable achievements. CM Raje congratulated all the women and praised their immense courage and struggle.
