CM Vasundhara Raje Listed among World’s 100 Most Influential People in Digital Government

Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has already received ‘Chief Minister of the year’ award this year for her remarkable work for digital development in the state, and now one more triumph has been added to the list.

UK-based organization- Apolitical recently released a list of 100 most influential people in digital government. CM Vasundhara Raje featured in the list for her tremendous work on e-governance. Rajasthan is India’s first state to implement an integrated and unified e-governance framework and architecture, known for leveraging technology and digital government.

CM Raje’s constant and sincere work has made this possible for Rajasthan. Through the various digitalization schemes like Bhamashah Card, Raje government has touched many milestones on the digital path. Bhamashah Card for cash subsidy transfers (given to the head woman in the household) was launched even before Startup India by the central government. Rajasthan Government announced its own ambitious policy in 2015.

 A Woman and Her Achievements

Vasundhara Raje, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan and the first woman to hold this position. In June she was awarded with the ‘Chief Ministerof the Year’ title at Skoch Summit for her work on e-governance. Rajasthan has held the maximum number of Information Technology/Digital fairs from the year 2014 to 2018. ‘DigiFest’ is one of the most successful digital festivals held in Rajasthan.

CM Raje is the flag bearer of the digital revolution in Rajasthan. She is the woman who has broken the stereotype that the women are miserable in the digital and technical field.
