The glory of Vasundhara Raje Government was being witnessed when Raje reached Chaarbhuja temple in Garhbor village of Rajsamand district. The very first election campaign of CM Raje, which was 15 years ago, also started from this holy place, as it is associated with valor, history, and devotion. Then she won the assembly elections-2003 to become first female chief minister of Rajasthan. Raj BJP’s ‘Parivartan Yatra’ in 2013 was also led the party to a record success in elections. Keeping in view, ‘Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra’ has also taken the step forward from Chaarbhuja. On this exciting occasion, thousands of people and supporters joined the campaign rally.

Grand welcome and inaugurations

Saturday, 4th August at 10:45 am, as CM Vasundhara Raje reached the temple, ‘Jai-kaar’, hail and support slogans echoed in the town. People were excited to take a glimpse of CM. Mahant and Pujari welcomed CM Raje in Rajasthani traditional manner by applying ‘chandan teeka’ and ‘laal chunari’ offering. Laal chunari and Chandan teeka are considered to bring good luck and victory.

At 11:00, CM Raje entered the temple for worships. Meanwhile, BJP National president reached nearby Dabok Airport, Udaipur. It took half an hour to Shah to reach Chaarbhuja temple. Then national president received the welcome and Rajasthani ‘Pagdi’ and joined CM Raje for worships.

By 11:50, Amit Shah reached to the rath and waved BJP’s saffron flag from the roof to start the campaign. He was accompanied by CM Raje and BJP state president Madan Lal Saini. After getting green signal, the Charioteer pushed the accelerator.

Meanwhile in Kankroli, around 1 Lac people were expectedly joined address session by national president Amit Shah and CM Raje. Minister Rajendra Rathore addressed the crowd first. Rathore conveyed that the chariot will soon be here. Central minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, C.R. Choudhary, Home minister Gulabchand Kataria, former state president Ashok Parnami, Social Justice minister Arun Chaturvedi, PWD minister Yoonus Khan, Rajsamand MLA Kiran Maheshwari, Jaipur mayor Ashok Lahoti and MLAs from Udaipur division reached to the stage just before CM Raje and Shah.

On 12:50 pm, CM Vasundhara Raje, president Amit Shah and state president Saini stepped on the stage at JK Stadium, Kankroli. Host and MLA Kiran Maheshwari led the welcome ceremony of all the ministers. Raje was welcomed with the ‘Chunari’ and Shah with the ‘Pagdi’ offerings.

After welcoming and thanking speeches, CM Raje and Amit Shah unveiled Chikalwas plan, Model school plan worth 6 crores, 3 crores to develop Devgarh college, Gaurav path in Devgarh and total 30 inaugurations worth rupees 80 crores. Government Rajasthan pledged to implement all the plans and schemes quoting- ‘Vikaas ki Gaurav Yatra’.

 7.5 crore people are my family: CM Raje

Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje was addressing the people in Kankroli, she said ‘BJP has developed the country in real. We made promises and kept them, no false promises.’ Raje thanked PM Narendra Modi to raise the minimum endorsement price for farmers.  Quoting the benefit statics, CM Raje said that BJP will bring the development storm to the state.

CM Raje also thanked the people of Rajasthan for support, trust and showing love to Bharatiya Janta Party. CM Said,‘Mera parivar ab 1 bete ka nahin, 7.5 crore logon ka hai’ (My family is not only a son but all the 7.5 crors people from the state). CM Raje concluded her speech with slogans- ‘Jai-Jai Rajasthan’ and ‘BJP Zindabaad’. CM Raje conveyed her expectation for support from people in 15th assembly elections as well.

President Shah’s questions for Rahul Gandhi

Bharatiya Janta Party’s national president Amit Shah sloganeered ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’, which was followed by the crowd. “Narendra Modi government worked in the welfare of farmers, poor, and females by raising minimum endorsement price, Bhamashah, Ujjwala and Rajshree sort of plans.”- said Amit Shah. Shah said, “Modi Government planned total 116 welfare schemes for the people.”

Amit Shah heaped motivation in party workers and the thousands of people with his brilliant and powerful speech. Shah praised CM Raje and said, “Rajya ki janta ko hisaab dene nikle yeh saahas Rajasthan ki mukhyamantri Vasundhara Raje hi kar sakti hain.”

Shah said that a time was when Congress used to spend 1 Lac 9000 crore rupees on people welfare, but PM Modi secured the budget of 2 lac 63000 crore rupees for various welfare schemes.

Shah further raised some questions for Congress president Rahul Gandhi. Shah asked “Chaar saal ka kya hisaab maangte ho, Rahul Baba aapki chaar peedhiyon ne kya kiya uska hisaab do?”  As another question, Shah said, “Ask Rahul Baba that why NRC should not be implemented against Bangladeshi refugees as it is a national security concern?”

Shah appealed people to ask these questions to Rahul Gandhi, when he would come to Rajasthan by 15th of August. Shah concluded the speech by appealing for the support and sloganeered ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’.

Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra received an overwhelming response on the launch day that fueled more encouragement in the party. Yatra’s next halt is nearby Nathdwara town in Rajsamand. Till August, 10, Rajasthan Gaurav Yatra will cover entire Udaipur division by running about 841 km.
