CM Raje Formally Announces Flight between Kishangarh to Delhi from Sept 8

    Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje formally announced that SpiceJet airlines will start a flight between Kishangarh to Delhi from September 8. Chief Strategy Officer of SpiceJet G.P. Gupta presented first invitation ticket to CM Raje during a meeting at 8- Civil lines, Jaipur on Tuesday. The flight will take off from Delhi Airport on Saturday, 8 September.

    CM Raje said that the expansion of flights will definitely increase tourism opportunities in the state. ‘Kishangarh-Delhi flight will offer tourism increment in Pushkar and Ajmer and will ease out the transport facility for Pilgrims to Pushkar Sarovar and Ajmer Sharif as well.’ CM Raje further added.

    Government to provide 20% of Viability Gap Fund

    SpiceJet CSO, G.P. Gupta said that the Government of Rajasthan will provide 20% of Viability Gap Fund for the project. ‘SpiceJet is planning to start interstate flights between other cities of Rajasthan to larger cities of other states.’ He further said.

    The Government of Rajasthan has started inter-state flights from Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Bikaner, and Udaipur cities.  SpiceJet recently started a flight between Jaipur to Jaisalmer. Considering the rise in air travel, CM Raje has been reviewing the flights in the state since 2013, and the condition of the airlines has improved in the state.
