CM Raje Asked RSRTC To Yield Better Results While Departing 105 New Buses

CM Vasundhara Raje mentioned that Rajasthan Rajya Path Parivahan Nigam staff and officers should accept the challenge of yielding better results and help the corporation to gain success in competition with other states. She mentioned that, the corporation has been provided new 500 buses and an aid of Rs. 360 crores with which they can effectively prove themselves.

CM Raje addressed the event of adding 105 new buses in the transportation department of Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation. She promptly mentioned that the state is pioneer in construction of new roads and connectivity of the roads. Now the state is also improving in the basic structure and many other similar sectors. Now, the state government is putting equal efforts in the transportation department of the state.

CM Raje not only encouraged the staff of the corporation to come forward and take part in competition but also asked them to be active like other states’ transportation corporations. She highlighted the fact that, the challenge of bad economic conditions are still prevalent, because of which, they will have to take strict actions towards it. The routs allotted to new buses are quite good and rich which will make a good source of income for the corporation.

CM Raje directed to embolden the use of IT in these corporations and also asked them to connect it with Police Department Command and Control Room. She also urged to pay attention to maintenance and cleanliness of buses. After one year, a public survey will be conducted by the state govt. to figure out that how much the corporation has developed.

Mr. Yunus Khan, transport and public works minister expressed the gratitude to the chief minister for adding 500 new buses in the department. By March 31st, all these buses will be active on road which will add to the passenger transport services. In the state, everyday, new roads of 16 kilometers are constructed and 5 new villages are getting added to the road network.

CM Raje had rolled out the target of constructing 20,000 kilometer roads  within the span of five years, which has been completed within three years only. In this, the state government has constructed 21,000 kilometer road.

After this, CM Raje departed 5 new multi axle scania buses and 100 blue line buses for the betterment of transport corporation. Not only this, she even travelled and observed these buses.
