The news of Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma planning to get married in Italy has been doing the rounds from last few days and fans are going crazy whether it’s true or not. Initially, when the news broke out, it was being considered as a mere speculation. Later, Anushka’s PR manager denied it saying that no such thing is happening.
However, a series of events and clues gathered by media on several occasions is proving that it’s definitely not just a speculation. Here are the clues that are apparently indicating a strong possibility of the couple getting married soon.
Virat taking a break from matches
It all started when Virat Kohli applied for leaves to opt out of ODI and t-20 matches against Sri Lanka. That time, he had reasoned that he needs rest from playing for a while.
Virat’s childhood friend and coach taking leaves
While Virat’s childhood friend from Delhi along with two more have left Delhi, his coach Rajkumar Sharma has excused himself from a match citing “nephew’s wedding” as the reason. As per the sources, Virat has left for Italy with his close friends and family.
Anushka spotted with family at the airport
On Thursday, actor Anushka Sharma was seen at the airport with her parents and brother with a lot of luggage. Even if one believes it to be just a holiday trip, an interesting fact is that the family was accompanied by Maharaja Anant Baba who is a family priest of the Sharmas. Besides, the ashram has reported that Baba Anant has gone to perform a wedding in Europe.
Designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee
The renowned designer was spotted leaving from Anushka’s residence a few days back which has led everyone speculate that he is designing costumes for the wedding.
Wedding dates
Media sources have revealed that the wedding will take place on December 12 or December 15 while there will be a grand reception in Mumbai as a hotel has been booked for December 21 and 22 by their families. Besides, actor Anushka Sharma was spotted at Bandra Family Court with her lawyer to collect marriage registration papers so the couple would apparently register their marriage after returning from Italy.
Destination Wedding
As per latest media reports, it’s going to be a destination wedding for the couple and the celebrations have already started at Tuscan. If reports are to be believed, a heritage hotel called Borgo Finocchieto in Tuscany, four hours away from Milan.
It’s a 13th century village restored with 5 villas inside it. As the resort can accommodate just 44 guests in 22 rooms that might explain the fact as to why it’s going to be a more private affair. A team of Bhangra dancers has already reached Bibbiano, a nearby place and these preparations are indicating it’s going to be a Punjabi wedding in the Italian Land.
Well, till now it’s quite clear that both families and friends of the couple are trying hard not to reveal the news by citing excuses and are refraining from giving any confirmation, it seems like the news is already out.
It’s no surprise that the wedding is happening considering the fact that the two are always spotted with each other at every event. However, the constant denial and attempts of concealing the news have all the more revealed what was intended to be kept a secret.
