BJP national president Amit Shah will arrive in Jaipur on Friday on a three-day visit to review the party’s preparations ahead of next year’s Assembly elections and the 2019 Lok Sabha polls. Amit Shah would be here from July 21 to July 23.
This visit is a part of his nationwide tour to strengthen the party at the grassroots level, with an eye to win the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
During his visit, Amit Shah will hold discussions with the members of the BJP state executive, core committee and council of ministers, along with the MLA’s, MP’s, district presidents and other office bearers of various cells.
Shah’s visit is crucial in timings and it clearly shows how important the state is for the party.
Shah’s Jaipur itinerary
- DAY 1 – Shah’s first scheduled interaction is with party functionaries of state and national level MP’s, MLA’s and post holders of party wings would be meeting him at the BJP office.
- DAY 2 – Shah has kept Saturday exclusively for party functionaries of various levels. There would be separate successive feedback meetings with them.
- DAY 3 – a session with the party vistaraks and members of the Deendayal Upadhyay Centenary Celebration committee. He also plans to meet chairpersons of boards, commissions and corporations, Mayors, Zila Pramukhs, Panchayat Samiti Pradhans and presidents of Nagar Nikays would also be present.
Appointments were made in several cells of the state BJP. Ashok Parnami has appointed 10 state spokespersons and the in charge of 10 party cells in the state unit. All 10 spokespersons appointed in the state occupying senior positions in government by the BJP include:

- Rajpal Singh Shekhawat
- Yunus Khan
- Kiran Maheshwari
- Vasudev Devnani
- Arun Chaturvedi
- Anita Badhet
Thus during his three-day visit which is the second in four years Mr. Shah would spend 50 hours holding as many as 10 formal interactions with different sections.
