Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was at the Smile Train event with her mother Vrinda Rai and daughter Aaradhya. This event was held in order to celebrate the birthday of Aishwarya’s late father Krishnaraj Rai. She wanted to mark her father’s birth anniversary in a unique way.

On her late father’s birth anniversary, Aishwarya sponsored surgeries for 100 children with cleft lips. She visited the hospital with her daughter Aaradhya and mother Vrinda Rai. That was an emotional moment for the gorgeous actress and she was in tears. In fact, she rebuked the photographers too.

At the time of cake cutting, Aishwarya got irritated by repeatedly flashing cameras. She asked photographers to stop and said, “I am asking you all to keep silence. You don’t need photos of all this. Me and you belong to this business, but all the others present here don’t. Please show some respect. This is not a premiere, this is not another public event.”

In March, this year, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s lost her father Krishnaraj Rai. This year, the event made her more upset as she was often accompanied by her father to Smile Train events.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is the goodwill ambassador for Smile Train, which she co-partners with her own charity foundation. Smile Train foundation’s aim is to provide free cleft lip and palate surgery to children in need.
