Chief Minister, Mrs. Vasundhara Raje said that the Dravyawati River Project is a landmark project of the state government. All efforts to cleanse Dravyawati river from the scratch will be done on priority basis. The river will be revived through this ambitious scheme.
CM Raje assured that all works encapsulated in this project will be positively completed by August 15, 2018.
On Wednesday, CM Raje held a review meeting of the Dravyawati project at the Chief Minister’s residence.
River beautification and river front development works will be optimistically completed in the stipulated time frame, CM Raje showed conviction for successful completion of the project.
With the help of World class experts in the direction of MLD sewerage treatment plant, walk way, jogging park, Eco Park, sitting area, check dam etc will be made to clean dirty water so that the glory will return which river lost it before.
The relentless efforts clubbed with innovative techniques to beautify the river will make this project emerge as a Model Project in the country.
Mitigate all issues on priority basis
CM Raje asserted that all bottlenecks in the path of the Dravyawati Project should be removed first on priority. “All necessary approvals for the second phase of the project must be taken at the earliest,” said CM Raje. She also instructed the Chief Secretary to bolster the works of riverfront near the military area and urged him to have a word with the Army Officers.
Rajasthan to emulate Singapore Botanical Garden Model
Under the Dravyawati project, all parks will be constructed on the lines of botanical gardens of Singapore. This concept will aid in boosting local ecology and also ensure favourable climatic plantation.
A progress report of the project was furnished by Mr. Vinayak K. Deshpande, MD of Tata Projects. Aspects like finance, stone pitching, sewerage treatment plant, concrete lining, sewer pipes, storage check dam etc have been cautiously integrated into the different phases of the project.
