Salman Khan Starrer Tiger Zinda Hai which got a massive Christmas release is still roaring at the box office on its 12th day in the theatres. Till the 11th day, the film had earned INR 272.79 Crores and the 12th day collection has added an amount of INR 16 Crores to the total collection. With a total box office collection of INR 288 Crores till now, the film is much likely to touch the 300 Crore mark very soon.
With Tiger Zinda Hai inching towards the 300 Crore club, Salman will have the maximum number of films with INR 300 Crores box office collection. Earlier, two of his films namely Sultan and Bajrangi Bhaijaan have already been included in the category of 300 Crore films. If TZH makes more than INR 320 Crores, it can also surpass the business of Bajrangi Bhaijaan which had earned INR 320.34 Crores.

As per the market reports, with no big release lined up for this weekend, Tiger Zinda Hai has the potential to earn somewhat between INR 325 Crores to INR 375 Crores. However, it will be interesting to watch if the film is able to surpass the earnings worth INR 387.38 Crores made by Aamir Khan Starrer film Dangal on its Christmas release.
The Holiday season including Christmas and New Year have helped the film a lot in making huge money on the box office. Besides, there was no other big release to compete with Tiger Zinda Hai. The superstar has such a huge fan following that not just on weekends but people are also enjoying the film in weekdays.
As far as Salman’s other films are concerned, most of his films easily make good money at the box office mainly due to his fan following and word of mouth publicity.
Tiger Zinda Hai is a sequel to the movie Ek Tha Tiger with the same leads- Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif playing the roles of RAW and ISI agents, respectively. The movie was one of the much awaited films this year mainly because the onscreen pair of Salman and Katrina has always been an instant hit among the audiences.
