Desert National Sanctuary, Jaisalmer

The Desert National Park is one of the important Wildlife Sanctuaries of Rajasthan. Situated near Jaisalmer, this sanctuary is sprawling over an area of 3162 square kilometers. This sanctuary is unique as 20 per cent of the area is constituted of sand dunes. Jeep safari is one of the attractions of Desert National Sanctuary Jaisalmer. At this sanctuary, visitors can find Great Indian Bustard, which is one of the most rare birds in the world.

Sita Mata Sanctuary, Pratapgarh

Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary, Kumbhalgarh

Spread over an area of 578 sq km, Kumbhalgarh Wildlife Sanctuary is located in Rajsamand district of Rajasthan. In fact, this wildlife sanctuary surrounds the Kumbhalgarh Fort. Mount Abu Sanctuary, Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuaries of Rajasthan

Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in the Aravalli Hills of Rajasthan.  This sanctuary measures 9 km in length and 6 km in breadth. It is interesting to know that sanctuary has almost 112 plant families belonging to 449 genera and 820 species. This is one of the oldest sanctuaries in the Aravalli range.

The best attraction of the sanctuary is grey jungle fowl and spot leopard. The sanctuary can be visited two times in a year i.e. April to June and November to February.
