21 MoUs worth Rs 955.37 crore inked to boost agro-processing and advanced farming techniques

GRAM Kota had taken everybody by storm and awe. On the second day of this wonderful event, a galaxy of MoUs worth Rs 955.37 crore was inked. These MoUs are likely to give a fillip to the unemployed sector in the villages. These MoUs are estimated to provide employment to more 27000 people across Rajasthan.

If you thought that GRAM was a local, sub-standard event, let me tell you it is one of the most prestigious events in India in agriculture and farming arena. Farmers now have the hang of innovative techniques, newer technology and better farming practices which will be adopted by them to boost their harvest.

An address speech for the investors

She also congratulated the MoU investors while stressing upon the fact that even the minutest contribution is worthwhile and laudable. A contribution towards this initiative is more than just money. It is a deeper reflection of your dedication towards the state and its development, CM Raje expressed.

Despite unfavourable geographical conditions, investors have strategically leveraged them to boost their agricultural production. The farmers have turned the impossible into possible. Head Governing body, Neelkamal Darbari was directed to advance the MoU implementation process further. CM Raje directed Darbari to update collectors of respective areas pertaining to the MoUs.

Dreams and hopes of farmers answered

The hopes and aspirations of many farmers will be fulfilled, and that’s how we will all progress together, CM Raje asserted. CM Raje took this opportunity to encourage investors among others. Royal Cashew representative spelled out his desire of making a hub of Royal cashew to which CM Raje spewed her conviction and good wishes for the ambitious man.

Tremendous work in the field of production, productivity, quality, processing and value addition is being done ~ said Agriculture Minister Prabhulal Saini.

GRAM 2016 v/s GRAM 2017

A total of 21 MoUs worth Rs 955.37 crore were inked at GRAM 2017 Kota, while a total of 38 MoU worth Rs4400 crore were inked, out of which 25 MoU have already been implemented.

Inaugurated Smart Farm and Animal Farm

Afterward, CM Raje went to various stalls set up at the RAC Ground, the venue for GRAM 2017 Kota. Stalls of agriculture, animal husbandry, advanced agricultural machinery, irrigation, manure seeds were visited by CM Raje. CM Raje inaugurated the smart farms. Information about protected farming, pearl farming, advanced agricultural machinery, animal husbandry, mushroom farming, organic farming, bee keeping, aquarium was collected by CM Raje.
