2% DA hike by CM Raje Government to Benefit 11.5 Lakh State Employees

    Rajasthan Government announced 2% DA hike for state government staff on Monday. This increase in Dearness Allowance (DA) will be effective from July 2018 and will benefit 11.5 Lakh government employees. The revised will now be 9% from earlier 7%. The hike will lead to an additional load of Rs. 547 Crores to the state exchequer. The Central Government has given the same DA hike to its employees recently.

    After reducing 4% VAT on fuel price a day before, the state government announced the DA hike on Monday. The hike by Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje government will benefit 8 Lakh government employees and 3.5 Lakh pensioners. However, the government will deposit the increased amount of the July and August months to the provident fund accounts.

    Raje’s double relief for the people of the state

    Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje has reduced VAT on the fuel price by 4% recently. It will cost Rs. 2000 Crores to the government coffer. A day after, the Raje government has announced a 2% DA hike that will burden the government Rs. 547 Crores. But CM Raje and her government have no excuse in the page as she claims that the government has enough money to work.

    CM Raje provided double relief for the state by reducing VAT and increasing the DA. Unlike former Congress-led government in the state, Raje government has been working for the people welfare.

    CM Raje says that no government lacks fund but the willpower to work for the people of the state. Raje spent the fair amount of money through various schemes. CM Raje’s Flagship Bhamashah Scheme has come up as the biggest success of the government.

    The Raje Government took the decision regarding 2% DA hike after the Central Government’s recent decision.
